Anyone may audition for a Falls Players show. Auditions are usually held about two months prior to the production date, and are announced here and in the Banner Journal and Shopper.

Auditions are informal, with most directors simply asking you to read a portion of the script in a group setting. For musicals, adults generally prepare a brief vocal piece and bring sheet music for the accompanist if desired, whereas children may sing a familiar song, such as "America."
